We here at Forty Clothing HQ have just got over the hangovers from Riverside it seems, only to get ourselves geared up to do it all over this weekend at the amazing Subby Sound system. The Sub Club has always stayed true to their roots and people have gravitated towards them over many years due to this fact. There is no place like it anywhere on the planet for its atmosphere is unparalleled. This weekend’s line-up brings the biggest and most exciting names in dance music to the iconic Glasgow arts and events venue BAaD.
Saturday hosts the disco legends Horse Meat disco ready to bring the party to Glasgow. Joining them is one of dance music most exciting new names Jayda G. as well as Detroit house hero Moodyman both ready to tear up the BAad Courtyard.
Sunday brings the famed Korean DJ and producer Peggy Gou alongside her army of dedicated fans to the Barras. Also on Sundays line up is disco-house trailblazer Gerd Janson and German deep house Veteran Henrik Shwarz. BAad are also opening up their backyard on Sunday and hosting the very best of Glasgow’s up and coming talent including Lezzer Quest and Rebecca Vasmant both who played sets on Forty’s very own Tall ship at Riverside festival. Joining them in the backyard are Ribeka and WSHOM.
With Glasgow artist Shaun Murphy transforming the Barras into an ‘Icy Mars cavern’ Sub Club Soundsystem 2019 is truly set to be out of this world. And don’t forget to tag #FortySpotted if you’re wearing Forty this weekend!
