Deface records is your Vinyl destination!

For us this was the original format for playing music!  The crackle of needle. The light of the turntable reflecting across the almost black liquid like disc. The movement of hand to bring the back to its cue point. With balanced accuracy letting go. 

An audio announcement ripping through the speakers  to the eager dance floor! 

Playing vinyl was a tactile process. Depending on which club you played in and the condition on the 1200’s or 1210 Technic turntables, you would have to adjust your touch and handling for each deck. 

It was a physical endeavour based on how many record boxes or bags you had to carry (sometimes 5 times a week) .

Playing records wasn’t just about the music it was a skill set of its own standing! 

Our storytelling manifests through our garments by the finishes, prints and fabrication. We have always felt that Forty should always be driven by purpose and never just a piece of clothing. 

Deface records uses a two process print, a water based ink and a gloss finish in to give the graphic the look and feel of a vinyl record. The print itself measures 12 inches which was the standard diameter of this type of disc. Smaller vinyl measured 7 inches. The tee is a relaxed fit with a heavyweight 220gsm cotton. This is a strictly limited release as part of our 10th anniversary with less than a 100 available.

Delivery

We offer a DPD service that takes 2-3 days to deliver, excluding Northern Ireland, 

Highlands, and Islands. Orders are not dispatched on Saturdays, Sundays, or public holidays.

Delivery is free for orders over £90. For purchases under £89.99, the delivery fee is £6.00 to the UK Mainland and £12 to Northern Ireland, Highlands, and Islands.

The cut-off for next-day deliveries is 2 pm from Monday to Friday. Similar to our general dispatch policy, orders aren't dispatched on weekends or public holidays.

International delivery fees and timeframes vary per country.

Returns

Our return policy is valid for 28 days from the date of your purchase. We happily accept web returns at all of our stores at Royal Exchange Square, Glasgow Fort and Silverburn.

• Click the link to our new returns portal and enter the information needed about your order.
• Simply choose between downloading a paperless QR code or print your own by downloading it from our portal.
• Take your order to your closest returns drop off store, which is shown on our portal, and let them scan the code.
• Once you hand it over to the drop off store, they will return your order to us, and we will process your return as soon as we receive it!
• £4.50 will be deducted from the refund.

Items that are not returnable include gift cards, free gifts, promotional items, any item not in its original condition, items that are damaged or missing parts not due to our error, and any item returned more than 28 days after delivery.
